New Leaf Wellness Center was started in an effort to serve the local community mental health needs. It's very unfortunate that Texas, a state of magnitude size, ranks near the bottom nation wide when it comes to mental health services and help. NLWC aims to help our mental health community by providing quality therapeutic services.
Talk therapy has been proven to be very beneficial to all those who participate, not just persons with mental health issues. In order to justify services through your medical insurance, you have to be diagnosed first. But what about the people who don't fall under a diagnosis of depression or anxiety, yet are having difficulties in their personal lives around relationships or work?
